Changed Lives: Miracles of the Passion (2004)

This made-for-TV documentary is a great introduction to the controversial movie The Passion of the Christ . Many people in regards to The Passion of the Christ ask why watch a movie that has so much blood and gore in it and this is why; because The Passion of the Christ is a movie that literally has the power to change lives.
I was speechless as I listened to testimony after testimony of how The Passion of the Christ was instrumental to saving a drowned baby's life, restoring a marriage, and how a killer, after watching the movie, gave himself up!
The quality of this documentary is good, typical of "made-for-TV" fare, and it does come across as being very American at points, but this in no way detracts from the material at hand. The nice thing about this documentary is that it comes across as being cross/non-denominational and as such I very feel comfortable recommending it to anyone interested in the influence and affects The Passion of the Christ.
An idea for this documentary would be to show it prior to a church outreach event (i.e. a showing of The Passion of the Christ ) to help get church members/attendees fired up and invite people along to watch the movie that inspired this documentary and changed lives! 8/10. CSJ
